First TriggerStreet Screenplay Reading Project Completed!

Los Angeles, CA – The first recording of a TriggerStreet.com screenplay is here! March 2008 Screenplay of the Month Operation: Atomic Blitz, a script written by TriggerStreet.com’s own mlambush was chosen as the inaugural script to be recorded by the TriggerStreet.com membership.

No easy feat when you consider that the script, an action/adventure film about British commandos trying to stop a Nazi superweapon during WWII, has numerous challenging foreign accents. Additionally, numerous logistical and technical difficulties had to be surmounted by the group in order to record the screenplay. But thanks to their hard work meeting up and recording lines numerous times to get the right take, it’s now available here, online, for all to download and listen.

Synopsis: 1944. A British commando must rescue a beautiful atomic physicist in order to stop a rogue German general from creating a superweapon. Fun and kitschy action/adventure story. Think "Indiana Jones" meets 60s-era "James Bond."

This marks the completion of the first effort by the community to present a screenplay in the new and novel audio format. The goal is to provide those without time or opportunity to sit down and read a whole screenplay the opportunity to listen to it in the same way one would an audiobook.

The mp3 file can be listened to on a computer, or burned to a CD or iPod with iTunes for listening to the script like an audiobook. Who knows, in the future maybe a Hollywood executive too “busy” to read will pickup a TriggerStreet.com script recorded for listening to On-The-Go.
