I find this script difficult to review -- I have this feeling that because it's "avant guarde" I can't apply the same criteria for evaluation that I would for "mainstream" scripts.
It's very well written, interesting and quirky. But the characters are sort of thin, and they don't always seem to operate with very plausible motivations -- though I somehow guess they're not necessarily supposed to in this bizzaro world you created for them.
For example, I don't understand why Cake accepts all the doctor's orders without skepticism for most of the script. But I get this feeling like I'm not supposed to question such things because this script isn't about characters as much as it's about ideas and the characters serve as mouth pieces for your authorial vision.
I enjoyed the "kinetic truths" and some of the funny banter, but ultimately I don't know what to make of the story.
