1Uploaded: 04/26/2010 by Nathan Carter Short Film - Drama, Foreign From the river of my childhood emerges an infecting cloud within which echoes of a vacillating scream made of names,
squelches and mocking chants ring out. A, B. Create, destroy. The concerned have abandoned their silouettes, the matter staggers around in its own reflections, the spirit is drowned in the vomits it produces. The river of my childhood has stagnated. It smells bad. I doubt the aspect which returns me to this surface, devoured by the undergrowth, agitated by insects. I think and I don’t remember, so there`s no other remedy other than to expect. Bad affair: imagining myself sick to the bone.

SinceramenteUploaded: 07/07/2009 by Nathan Carter Short Film - Drama, Foreign There is a second that exists at the end of a sleepless night, just before the cock crows, in which
to each human being the possibility of finding absolute solitude with himself is offered. A sole instant, naked, real, where the doubts vomited out through the mere act of existing are allied to the unmateriality of the future, so as to, unexpectedly, awake the urgent need to provide with some type of certainty all that we feel, all that we believe in, all that which any type of answer resounds as emptiness. Especially in this second. Perhaps the most heart-ripping. Probably the most merciless. And most surely, the most sincere.

The BikeUploaded: 11/28/2008 by Nathan Carter Short Film - Documentary, Foreign The Bike is a way of being, of moving, of gyrating, of ascending and of descending. A manner of transporting
our systemic way of being through the welding to its structure by means of an absolute abstraction to all which crosses our path at that instant in time. The mere fact of riding the bike involves the acceptance, becoming at one with a secondary force capable of helping us to travel along the pathways, (internally and externally) of which the Routine cuts deep grooves upon life’s surface. The mere fact of propelling the pedals signifies the assumption of its indispensibility when confronting any individual initiative. That’s why it is always available. Always. At the right time, at the right place, without fail, precise like a clock mechanism. That’s where the Routine starts, the bike turns out to be necessary. And, hence, it shows up. For whoever and no-one. Being part of our lives. Of our Routine. And also of our more or less chromatic way of confronting it.

inner and outerUploaded: 10/08/2007 by grifter110 Short Film - Documentary, Drama, Foreign ‘Inner and Outer’ is a homage to ‘Outer and Inner Space’ by the artist Andy Warhol. Made in 1965 at
the very beginnings of the video art movement Warhol’s original, starring Edie Sedgwick, comprised of two 33 minute, black and white 16mm films displayed from two rolls as a split screen projection. Warhol used this piece to reflect upon conditions of production and allowed the images to enter into dialogue with each other. Updated for the 21st century, here our images have been digitally manipulated onto the screen, changing our conditions of projection and production. Scissors have been replaced by digital razor blades and edit bins are not loaded with celluloid but with pixels. Our subject has also been updated but the juxtaposition of images stays just as confronting. For the audience they are experiencing the private and public realm. For the subject we can see them experiencing a perfect past self image with a reaction alternating between shock and detachment.
