The ActuaryUploaded: 06/13/2008 by morgands1 Screenplay - Action, Comedy, Drama Downtrodden from a painful divorce, trapped in a suffocating office job, and his life almost ended while witnessing a bank
robbery, Osborne (the actuary of the title) feels emasculated and perilously vulnerable when he spots an ad for a hunting farm (“Man against Boar Hog. Sidearms only. Some don’t come back."). Against the strained advice of his paranoid officemates, this low-level financial whiz from New York struggles to regain his manhood by participating in a canned wild boar hunt on an island off the Georgia coast. His lack of hunting expertise notwithstanding, Osborne manages to make a strong impression on the hunting farm owner's frustrated and manipulative wife, who is not above toying with the guests in order to have the baby she’s always wanted. When Osborne seems ready to take the bait, it sets the stage for a deadly manhunt -- with himself as the prey. Both a satire of today's cut-throat business world and a send-up of the men’s movement, this comical character study features an evocative Deep South flavor, witty dialogue and a tense chase.

The Resurrection of Skippy PoindexterUploaded: 12/05/2002 by morgands1 Screenplay - Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Darkly comic updating of the Faust legend, as a former child star/tyrant seeks to recover the fame and notoriety of
his youth. 7-year-old Skippy Poindexter achieved universal stardom in the saccharine 1950s sit-com "My Little Angel." But behind the heavenly characterization of an angel-waif was a take-no-prisoners prima donna. Now, half a century later, overweight, balding Skippy Poindexter -- still untalented, self-aggrandizing, vindictive, and desperate for a second chance -- draws the attention of a mysterious Mephistophelean figure who agrees to give him what he wishes for -- for a price. A satire told in overlapping time periods both through stylized present-day footage and flashbacks/clips from Skippy's early acting days (including his Roger Corman biker flick), as well as video recreations of Skippy's contemporary crimes.
